I read some of the previous postings where people were guided through the removal of Trojan.Vundo and I would appreciate some help. Symantec auto-protect continues to catch it and I believe prevent it from really infecting me, but I would like to stop it completely. Also, rtvscan is occasionally taking up a lot of system resources and I'm afraid to lower its priority with auto-protect consistently stopping the threat. Neither symantec nor VundoFix.exe actually finds infected files when I run a scan, presumably because auto-protect is deleting them. So I have run HijackThis...here is the log. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi wbernard!
    Welcome to Major Geeks!

Your hijackthis log shows that some of the malware files have been damaged but haven't been removed completely. It's important to run all the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST so we can see which files still remain on your computer.

    Thanks.
