Trouble Syncing Thunderbird with Yahoo Mail

    Getting this error message from recently downloaded Thunderbird program (in several attempts over for several days):

    "! Alert

    Sending of password did not succeed. Mail server pop.yahoo.com responded pop not allowed for user."

    All has worked fine in Thunderbird for my Hotmail and Gmail accounts.

    Any help is really appreciated - thanks in advance......
