I'm trying to follow the cleaning instructions for XP.

In the first few steps, when trying to uninstall unnecessary software,
I am having trouble uninstalling Zuma Deluxe--a game my brother downloaded,
and Happy Holidays--something mom downloading, and its supposed to be a
    screen saver thing.

But when I go to remove Zuma Deluxe a message pops up:
"Exception EInvalidOp in module msvcrt.dll at 000412F1.
    Invalid floating point version."

When attempting to uninstall Happy Holidays:
"Exception EinvalidOp in module _iu14D2N.tmp at 77850179.
    Invalid floating point operation."

Then, when trying to install Malwarebytes Anti-Spyware 1.32 a message pops up saying:
"Exception EInvalidOp in module mb.tmp at 778500D5.
    Invalid floating point operation."

What do you suggest I do?

    Thanks in advance...

If something does not run, write down the info to explain to us later but keep on going.
Do not assume that because one step does not work that they all will not.

    Did you try renaming them?

Continue on and attach the logs that you can produce, esp. the C:\MGLogs.zip.
