    Hi,

I've followed the self help guide for removing the SpywareQuake but my PC keeps directing me to random websites. I'm pretty sure spywarequake is to blaim but I have been away from my PC for 8 months so its possible that it could be something else.

Please see attached smitlog and HJT logs.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I forgot to mention that I followed the "READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support" steps 1 through 7. :)

According to your smitfiles.txt log, your SpywareQuake issues were fixed.

You need to actually RUN all the steps in the READ & RUN ME. You have not complete the steps as requested.

    - since you have a very outdated Windows OS you should have run CounterSpy and attached the log.
    - you totally skipped step 6 and the two required logs must be attached.
    - did you install and run Spybot. It does not show up with the SDhelper function enabled as it should?

The above should have been finished before using HijackThis.
