    hi guys,

A friend of mine can't see folder options in the View menu in Windows explorer? It just displays Map Network Drive, Disconnect Network drive and Sychronize. I can't see Folder Options in control panel either. :confused

I've googled for it, the closest search resembling an answer is to edit the registry

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer]

set the DWORD "NoFolderOptions" to 0 or just delete it.

Trouble is I don't see "NoFolderOptions", all I see is NoDriveTypeAutoRun. O/S is Windows XP Service Pack 2. The logged on user has Administrator rights.

    Any help greatly appreciated !

I believe the Folder Option Choice appears under Tools rather than View in newer versions of windows.

Sorry I've confused you. When I choose the Tools drop down menu from Windows explorer I can't see the "folder options".
