Unble to paste into youTube message area

    I'm coming here after the malware threads. I am unable to paste in the YouTube message area, either Ctl-v or right mouse click and paste. this problem does not exist anywhere else that know of. Word processing program work, web pages othet than YouTube work. So can youtube code in a key stroke denial? If they cn, is there a simple way to circumvent it?

    Hi

    Which windows version and what browser are you using? if you use Internet Explorer have you tried Firefox or Chrome to see if they paste into the message area? Are you a signed up member of YouTube as to comment you have to be to message a reply on a video?

    IE 11 with win 7 OS. I won't install chrome, too many issues with others around me3 that have had it. Yes the issue was present with firefox, but with some re-tooling of the settings, am able to paste using Firefox, but not IE. I have reset all settings in IE to default, that was unsuccessful. turned off all accelerators and add-ons, but that was also unsuccessful.
