Ok, i was at my PC and first the mouse stopped working.

I couldn't reboot so i had to turn it off at the power button:(
I started it up again and got the message * windows did not shut down normally * cant remember exactly what it was *.
Then give me the option to boot windows normally
Before i got the chance to hit enter, the screen went blank.
Now the PC wont boot up at all. Im just getting a blank screen.

Last time this happened the HD had failed so im praying it's not that again.
I hadn't installed or uninstalled anything before it happened.

My PC is vista home permium.

    Any ideas guys?

    Ed..

Just to be clear, if you were to turn off the computer and turn it back on, you would get no display?

you may try running microsoft's memtest to check your RAM. You can usually find it by googling memtest or RAMtest
