If understand Trojan horse does not replicate themselves and does not go in e-mail , IP adress or bad web site like worms and virus do.

In the old days most people got malware by e-mail and floppy :cry People can still do today but not big like in the old days.

Now it mostly porn sites , free stuff or pirated software.

And mow malware makers are getting very smart where you can get virus or Trojan horse so on in ads , pop ups , banners or bad script on the page .And if that does not make things worse finding ways to give you virus or Trojan horse so on are coming in Java and flash now.

 

I wouldn't minimize the likelihood of getting viruses in email. It's still a very popular way to spread them. Floppys are almost extinct now but USB Jump Drives have now picked up where the floppys left off.
