Uninstall error -5005 : 0x80070002 in Vista

    i have this same problem :'( tried re installing in safe mode but it did the same thing it did in normal mode :( ... iv got Vista if that makes any difference :( ..

    miss_mauao, welcome. The Majors prefer that everyone start his/her own thread with a problem and not hijack someone else's even if you think you have the same problem.

    Post your problem explaining what OS, including service packs, you run and what what you are trying to uninstall with the error. Also perhaps an explanation as to why you want to uninstall - perhaps mentioning any other problems that led to your decision to uninstall a program.

    Moved to new thread of its own as the steps for Vista maybe different to the ones for XP in the thread you tagged onto, so using XP steps posted could make things worse.

    Please do post the information plodr mentioned above in this thread, please give us all any infomration as to what application/s (is it the same Telstra Turbo Connection Manager application the other member was trying to uninstall/install) are causing this and what service pack your Vista is at.
