uninstalled office - lost my mailbox......

wasn't thinking, uninstalled msoffice 2007 and lost my outlook express mailbox and all of my addresses and mail that I wished dearly to keep.
I didn't create a system restore point before the uninstall - nearest is yesterday afternoon - and I've done a ton of work since then that I'd also die if I lost....... and I would lose last night's and today's work if I restored to yesterday afternoon, wouldn't I? I feel like :crap over this.
Is there a fix or have I just hosed myself badly?
I am bereft :cry and feel about as stupid as I look.

My suggestion is to reinstall MS Office. They should all come back with the reinstall.
