Uninstalling McAfee Virus Scan 3.1.6

    I would like to uninstall McAfee Virus Scan 3.1.6 and know that it will not be an easy thing to do. I have gone to the McAfee help and they gave me a long list of things to do, including removing the program from autoexec.bat file and then editing the registry.

    The program does not sit in my add/remove programs and I started to work on this and removed the Network Associates file. (not good to do)

    Your thoughts?
