I have a Toshiba Satellite Laptop. I have not rescently changed or even updated anything. Yesterday I was uploading a few photos on Ebay and everything worked fine. Today I start it and it boots to my Desktop however I can not load anything. I tried booting it in safe mode, entered MSCONFIG and attempted to Disable everything that isn't essential, when I click OK or APPLY, the Hourglass Cursor never goes away. Where can I start here? I tried a system restore, but same thing... I click the system restore and I see the Hourglass and nothing every loads.

Usually I'm fine working my way through problems, but if I can't get anything to load I don't see anyways.

    Thanks for any help.

If you have your OS CD, you might want to try doing a repair install.
