My computer lately has been running strangely slow. At first it just seemed like the internet (I use Firefox), but I then noticed everything else was running slow and often froze/was "not responding". I can't exactly pinpoint when this started, but I have a feeling it possibly might have been from downloading stuff without being careful (torrents and such). My estimate is around a month or less, or pretty recently. My computer is fairly new, around a year old or so-- Vista.

I am not getting raided with pop-ups or ads, my front page has not changed, but everything suddenly started getting noticeably and significantly slower. It's very frustrating.

I completed everything from the Read and Run Malware Cleaning Guide. I'm not sure if it's helped... Please help me take a look at what's wrong in the log files.

This does not appear to be a malware issue.....though I must ask this:
I am not seeing any anti-virus software installed and running in your add/remove programs list, yet these exist:
    C:\ProgramData\Avg7
    C:\ProgramData\AVIRA

    You also did not uninstall:
    Viewpoint Media Player

Now to your slowness, this is what is listed:
    Code:
Installed Physical Memory (RAM) 2.00 GB
    Total Physical Memory 1.94 GB
    Available Physical Memory 0.99 GB

You need to post in the software section to address this.

Since you are not having any malware issues:

Yeah, for some reason there are a lot of programs that don't show up on the Add/Remove programs list (including others) but still exist on my computer, apparently. How do I remove these programs?

I apologize for this stupid question...I'm not a very computer savvy person. :-o
What exactly is "Physical Memory"? And how to I increase the available amount...?

What programs? Do they show in CCleaner?

You have 2 gb's of ram....which is plenty....but you are also using over half of the installed ram (probably with programs running from your startups ) and so your available memory is 0.99 gb's.

CCleaner will also show what you have running at startup.

You need to post in the software forum for further help with your system. :)
