I'm thinking about upgrading my current graphics cards which are Radeon 7870 Ghz Edition 2GB in Crossfire configuration. I'm thinking along the lines of a single card maybe a nVidia 960 4GB or a Radeon R9 380 4GB. I'll swap out the 7870's and list the for sale to help offset the cost of my purchase. My budget ceiling is in the $200 range in total.

    My specs are:
    8320 3.5ghz OC@4.0Ghz on h90 Liquid Cooling
    24GB RAM
    480GB SSD (Primary)
    2TB HDD
2x Radeon 7870 Ghz Edition 2 GB Crossfire
    Creative SoundBlaster Audigy FX
    850W Sentey Modular

I'd welcome any constructive thoughts, comments and suggestions.

A 960's not going to be much of an improvement over a single 7870, except for the memory capacity boost. The R9 380 should be a noticeable step up, also the AMDs seem to be improving more in newer (DX12) games as well.

I agree about the R9 380. That's a better choice than anything Nvidia has atm.
