upgrading from windows98 to xp

    i got a question about upgrading. im not sure if its better to format my harddrive before installing xp or to just install right over the existing win98??and if i format i dont know if i have to get all the drivers,etc... i need for xp

    just a quick tip as well
    wether you decide to format or upgrade to xp while you still have 98 on your system put in your xp cd and run the Upgrade Advisor tool by clicking Check System Compatibility on the Welcome to Microsoft Windows XP page that comes up this will help you decide what drivers etc you may need ;)
