USB 1 gig memory stick

I want to buy a 1 gig USB memory stick to be used on a W98SE laptop. (USB 1.1 unfortunately). I want to buy one from a USA reseller as a 1 gig stick ex USA costs about the same as a 256mb stick here in OZ. Bloody robbers.

Can any MG'er recommend a reseller in the USA that will ship to OZ and has an excellent reputation. I got ripped off trying to buy a P3/550 CPU for my laptop from a USA ebayer so don't want to get ripped off again.

I assume I need a driver for W98SE. I will contact reseller to see if USB stick comes with driver. Thanks

the easiest thing i can think of is having someone from the states buy it, then ship it to wherever oz is.

 

OZ is Australia . I don't mind buying ex USA. Just looking for someone to recommend an internet PC Components company they have used more than once with 100% success and happinesss. Bazza

You will need a driver for Win98, but most stick makers post them on their web sites.

Not sure about export shipments from US hardware resellers. You'll just have to ask them, I guess.
