I'm in need of a 'generic' driver for Win98se so I can use a flash drive. I know that all Windows from ME & 2000 on up have the drivers built-in, but not 98 or 98se. The guy who owns the laptop would rather not upgrade to ME or 2000 for reasons all his own, so any help, links, ideas, or suggestions will be appreciated..... thanx!

Some flash manufactors provide 98 drivers, and theres also a generic drive, pretty sure its titled "usb mass storage" but i can't remember where to find it or what not. Check the manufactors site first, then try microsoft for the usb mass storage driver, hope that helps a bit, good luck.
