Usb ports Stopped responding

Hi

I moved your post to its own thread as some of the info and possible fixes maybe different to the other user.

What Windows version and Service Pack are you using?
What is your PCs make and model name (in full, maybe on sticker on PC/Laptop)?
If a home build PC then what is the make and mode of Motherboard used? (if this is not easy to find then the below guide will help and follow it as written)

Do you have any yellow ! marks in Device Manager and if so by what device/s?

With USB Ports stopped responding, is this all ports or just one + ?
What USB devices do you have plugged in? and if you have a USB mouse/keyboard or Printer do they still work in USB?

Has the PC had any crashes or power loss just before this started?



Need to know the above before wildly guessing at a fix, as the above info will give us a starting point and to know what Windows version we are working with as steps to fix maybe different so as much info as you can is always helpful.
