Hi, I have a crappy toshiba sdr6272 burner in my hp laptop. I was wondering if theres a way I could burn files to my stand alone Gateway dvd AR-230 recorder (lite-on) DVD+RW from my laptop. I have firewire jacks on both. However the software in the Gateway is pretty basic, like a vhs, 3 speeds, format, timer, thats about it. Is there some software that I could install to this deck to enable me to use it as a external drive with my laptop??? I have nero 6 ultra
