Using Pc Camera On Win10/64?

I just attached a camera to my Win10/64-bit computer and can't figure out how to use it. I connected the camera to my Win10 laptop, and the computer said it was installing the software. However, when finished, I didn't see an entry for the camera on the desktop, Start menu or Control Panel. The camera didn't come with a CD or a model number. So, how do I use it?

BTW, the camera appears old because the manual gave installation instructions for Win9x/ME and Win2k/XP.

 

You would need to tell us the exact name and model of the camera.

 

Uhh...I don't know. All its box saya are "PC CAMERA" and "Made in China."

Do you see the camera in Device Manager?

I looked in the Devices page in Settings. The device is listed as "USB 2.0 PC Camera."

 

Then you probably do need the AMcap software for it to run.

Any free recommendations? I just need to take snapshots, crop and maybe edit the pictures, and add text. I'm looking for something small, even though my laptop can handle large programs.
