utorrent etc and 4OD? remnents etc

HI, Can anyone help me out there, I have a PC that a long time ago had 4OD (Channel 4 TV On Demand software) installed. I have heard on some forums that even when "Removed" by normal methods this peer to peer sharing (Like uTorrent) service leaves behind a remnent of files that actually still try and share what was downloaded (all the complete downloads have been removed).
I have a Netgear router that reports (as I have set a filter on the port numbers) uTorrent attempts and this is happening, and I think giving rise to spurrious port scans on my Router.
Any ideas on how to find these files that are producing these uTorrent requestes etc?

Help much appreciated as I do not know where to start on this one - thanks...

I watch programs on channel 40d too, but I do not download anything from them.

A bit more investigation and it becomes obvious its part of the ‘package’ that came with Channel 4 (UK)’s new 4OD service that allows you to download their shows online. kservice.exe, from Kontiki, installs itself as a windows service and works as a p2p client in the background, downloading the programs from a distribution of other 4OD users. However, when you quit 4OD, kservice.exe continues to run

From the disclaimer on their website:

4oD uses peer to peer (“P2P”) technology. This allows content to be transferred directly from the computers of users of the Service (rather than through a website or directory). If you download Content to your computer, during the Licence Period, we may upload this from your computer (using part of your upstream bandwidth) for the purpose of transferring Content to other users of the Service. Please contact your Internet Service Provider (“ISP”) if you have any queries on this.

It's just your choice whether you continue to use it or not, you may find it useful to post in the software forum to discuss this but unless you are having any malware problems there is nothing I can do here in this forum to help you.

- - - sorry to post in the wrong forum, I thought this was or may be a Malware problem. I will look for things that may be associated with Kontiki, and then post in the software forum...
