Vanishing HD space/possible Malware

For the last week or so I have been having a problem that totally confuses me. I consider myself pretty computer literate but I have no idea how to fix this, or if it is even caused by malware.

I have found that my computer hard drive space has been vanishing on its own without me adding anything else to the computer. For example last night I deleted about 6 gigs worth of files/programs and I sat there watching my hard drive space go from that total all the way down to a few meg left- all by itself- in about an hour's time if that long. Then I get the windows popup 'your out of hd space' message.

For some reason I cannot go back and system restore either- whether I inadvertently forgot to put it back on at some point or whether the memory issue precludes me from using it, I dont know..

During this time the only thing I did was check the c drives properties to see how large it was. Another thing I noticed was that my Msn internet service seems to have about 16 copies of everything in my stored emails folder.

I am including a hijack this log just in case there is something there that is not right. But I am totally at a loss as to what to do about this.

I downloaded a new version of spybot, ran that and ran the disk cleanup utility in windows as well (which cleared about 8 meg which summarily vanished).

Has anyone else had this problem? I've noticed for a while that my hd space doesnt seem to last as long as it should but not its way out of hand...

Sorry, I think I got it right this time. Tried to follow it as closely as I could and I think the file will be attached as requested. I was expecting to see hijack this info (as far as whats required here to do) in the first email, but what you attached in your first response was different than what you attached in the second response. So that threw me off.
