VCR tape to DVD

    K, so heres what I'm trying to do. I wan't to take some files of a vcr tape and make them an Xvid file to use for ConvertXtoDVD. What are the steps/programs used to edit the files to do that. I know a little bit about virtual dub. I also have Adobe Creative Suite Master Collection but that baffles me on where to begin.

    Any information would be appreciated.

    Do you already have the vcr tape files on disk? If so what format/extension are they?
