VHS Capture issue w/Nvidia Personal Cinema 5200

Hello, I run XP pro, Athlon 950mhz, 768mb pc-133 Nvidia personal cinema FX5200 128mb card. I can capture from dish perfectly but when I try to capture from VHS I get half a green screen and half a negative image of whats playing everyonce in awhile. I cannot capture a whole VHS tape and these flashes are quick and random. I have tried coax into the card, RCA into the breakout box and S-video from a brand new svhs vcr but no luck. Straight from the dish its great but analog to digital capture is the problem. I have the newest drivers from nivida for xp, any suggestions or advice is appreciated.
