Video card driver issues help?!

I have checked to see if anyone else has this same issue and it did come up but no one had a solution to my specific problem.
My comp specs run roughly like this:
AMD Athlon 64 3000 (2 ghz) with 1g ddr 400
with a Radeon X800pro with latest catalyst drivers.
directx9c
an 80gb non sata disk drive running xp pro.

Now when I try and play doom3 for instance i get this error:X..GL_EXT_shared_texture_palette not found
X..GL_EXT_texture3D not found
X..GL_EXT_stencil_wrap not found
X..GL_NV_register_combiners not found
X..GL_EXT_stencil_two_side not found
X..GL_ATI_separate_stencil not found
X..GL_ATI_fragment_shader not found
X..GL_ATI_text_fragment_shader not found
X..GL_ARB_vertex_buffer_object not found
X..GL_ARB_vertex_program not found
X..GL_ARB_fragment_program not found

Error during initialization
Shutting down OpenGL subsystem


I get a similar message with call of duty as well. But other games like gta:san andreas, world of warcraft, half life 2 all run perfectly (maxed out settings).

I have searched everywhere for a workable solution to this problem please help if you can!!!

Yes most definately. I tried to update absolutly everything related to the problem.
