Video Clips Problems

Not quite sure if I have to come to the correct place for posting this thread but nevertheless will give it a try.

Currently having problems with video clips in that they keep stopping and starting whilst watching.

Can anyone possibly suggest a reason why this is happening and how to go about identifying and correcting the fault.

Streaming? Could be a buffering problem.

What media player are you using?

 

also if you do not have enough broadband the vidio needs a long time to buffer.

 

Also, depending on your computer and operating system, it could be a memory issue. I remember using an old AMD 1000 that wouldn't play video smoothly, until someone suggested using the bios to assign more memory to the graphics card. Once I'd done this, videos played without any problem.

Apologies for late response but unforeseen circumstances prevented an earlier reply. Yr efforts appreciated.
It would appear as though situation being caused by slow buffering. I T/4 decided to download YouTube downloader whereby downloaded file(s) in question. T/after the files successfully worked using WMP

Not being very technical I do not know how to accelerate buffering speeds on my PC. Perhaps if I increased my ram which currently is 512Mb to maybe 1024 the problem might by alleviated.
