Video problemo

hey guys
I recently reisntalled my PC.

I installed Windows XP Pro
.
the problem is that I have some problems with the video. whenever I want to play a video I just see red/blue/white colours. It's exactly as when you are looking with a heath sense device. all of those colours. it's not only with Windows Media player but also with Real player whenever I watch on youtube it's allright I can watch normal.
not only the video is a problem also the audio. it speeds up like 3 times as fast and the video also. sometimes I hear no sound..so it's a mess. I did install the correct driver because ut2k4 works fine for me.
also the audio driver are installed correctly so they also work fine. because I hear sound which is 100%

also files which are on ym PC do not work well when they are played. so what's the problem about all of this

Do you have the right codecs to play the videos on your PC?

Try installing this and see if it solves the problem.

yeah the problem is in codecs, i had the same trouble, so i used to reinstall codecs, i'd recomend to install K-lite codec pack, you can get the latest here

 

It could be your MoBo is out of date, with the chipset, depending on the video card, my is a AGP so the chipset i dl for the MoBo updates the AGP driver and therefor fixes my vid card.
