Viewpoint Media Player/Viewpoint Experience Technology

    ...running WinXPsp2. I understand Viewpoint is associated with AOL or its functionality maybe. Recently I removed all things AOL from my Dell. Any reason to keep Viewpoint around? Are there any other dependencies for Viewpoint? Looks like it can be removed from the control panel....plus since removing AOL I don't find anything significant about Viewpoint in the registry.

    No need for Viewpoint, uninstall anything related to it.

    Viewpoint is one of the things AOL packages in there install that they don't tell you about.
