recently, i was a greedy pirate and tried to download a keygen for a game.

i ended up with a virus.

the virus seems to act like an anti-spyware thing. i get pop ups in the corner saying that my computer is under attack by whatever virus and to click to download something that will remove it.

i also get warnings to the same tune.

it places icons on my desktop that resemble the windows security sheild, however they end with .Ink. they are called online security guide and live safety centre.

i also recieve internet popups to the same extent. they appear in IE windows however, i run firefox.

how do i remove this? does anyone know the virus? i have a collected of anti virus/spyware programs that i have on the job but so far, no luck. am i safe to enter passwords on firefox?

    thanks so much.
