Virus appearing as BT "dial up connection"

    Help everyone,

    I appear to have a virus which appears as the old style BT "dial up connection". It just shows

    Connect to: BTYahoo Anytime
    User name: your_username@btinternet.com etc,etc.

    It is proving very difficult to get rid off. It seems to be in my Norton Antivirus and it can be difficult to use Norton. Can anyone help?

    I am using Windows 98.
