I had an earlier thread about the newlove virus I had and I'm not sure what to do with these .vbs files I found on my P.C. It's Win2k.

Supposedly this virus renames files (including system files) to .vbs and deletes the original. I don't recognize any of these file. Can I safely delete them or should I try to figure out what they were? Most are in the C: Inetpub folder but one is in the winnt\system32 folder. Also is a windows repair an option or should I consider a re-install? No major problems yet but I want to avoid them down the road and make sure this virus is completely gone. Will just deleting these files do it?
    Thanks
