    Hi,

My laptop got infected by virus snake.exe.vbs. I was able to remove it successfully using Antivirus AVG 8.0

I believe this virus changed registry settings for entries NoFolderOptions, NoViewOnDrive. This will prevent users accessing drives and seeing hidden files.

    Path for NoFolderOptions, NoViewOnDrive

    HKCU/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Policies/Explorer
    HLM/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Policies/Explorer

Now, when I log in using safe mode. I am able to access drives in my laptop.
But when I login in normal mode I am unable to access any of drives.

I did tried to change registry entries, but when I login using normal mode the values of these entries gets overwritten.

    NoFolderOptions: 1
    NoViewOnDrive: 0x03FFFFFF

    Please help..

    Thanks...
