Viruses/worms (have Hijackthis log)

    I have followed your instructions so far. I removed (WIN32.TROJAN.DOWNLOADER) with adaware. This is my aunt/uncles computer, and they say its way slower than when they got it. Someone put a copy of windows XP on their computer thats not genuine. Could this be causing problems? It still has viruses though, so thank you to whoever helps me. You guys helped me before:)

    :) Ok im sorry to bump, but its been 6 days and i still havent gotten a reply. I know you guys are busy, but im afraid my thread may have been lost in the shuffle. If my problem is beyond fixing, then can someone please let me know. Please dont take this as an insult or think that i am being rude, because i really do appreciate the work you do. A very sincere thank you, Landon. :)

    Im sorry this is a differnt computer.
    This is my aunt/uncles computer. my other thread was my moms computer that we cleaned out at christmas when i was visiting.

    Please delete the following file:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Jeremy\Start Menu\Programs\Startup\PowerReg SchedulerV2.exe

    Please copy the bold text below to notepad. Save it as fixME.reg to your desktop. Be sure the "Save as" type is set to "all files" Once you have saved it double click it and allow it to merge with the registry.

    Run HijackThis and select the following lines but DO NOT CLICK FIX until you exit all browser sessions including the one you are reading in right now:
    After clicking Fix, exit HJT.

    Now attach new logs for:

    * GetRunKey - please download the current version first!
    * ShowNew
    * HJT

    Be sure to tell us how things are running.

    Your logs look clean.

    You may now uninstall any programs that we had you install.

    You did not tell us how things are running now.
