Vista and Office 2000 or 2003

Office 2000 ( or Office XP ) you may have issues with the Office installer and installing running Outlook as its WAB is not compatible with Vista, some have had success with installing Office without Outlook but these are mixed experiences, but Office 2003 as mentioned runs fine, I ran Office 2003 with no issues until I upgraded to 2007.

Get out clause..... so as I mention to many who ask similar question you can only try, it may work for you or many not, but things to try to get them to install or run are run the setup.exe as Admin, or run it in compatability mode for XP.
