Vista Blue screen Just installed

I just installed vista hoping to fix the problems i was having before but they followed me right over.

The code i got was

Do i have either a software problem or is my hardware crashing.

Can you give us some spec about your computer?

 

2.5g duo core e55 i think
nvidia 9800gt
4gigs of ocz 2f1066gk
asus p5ql pro MB


I was having tons of problems with xp since saturday. So i have formated the hd about 3 times becuase every time i tried to reinstall xp a new i would get at least 4 install errors during the install and than once i finally got it installed i would still get blue screens and CTD on any program i used. So i bought vista since my xp cd is a old CDW cd. At first i got everything to start up and than i started to install my ASUS drivers for internet, epu-4 engine, intell updates and now i get to the user selection screen and i crash to blue screen

 

ok,pull out 2 gigs of memory and try to install xp or vista.from what I can see (from forums) this mobo is very picky about ram so try this or use different set of ram.(but make it 2 gigs for start,not 4)

 

fun fun so another reinstall eh

 

ah fun. Now i have a 0x00000024 error and running chkdsk didnt' do anything i think my 3 month old hd is fried.
