Vista Ipconfig displaying extra stuff

    When i run ipconfig i get the following:

    Whats all that media disconnected crap. How do i get rid of it.

    These are network adapters installed on your computer. Do not get rid of them until you are certain what they are. The 'media disconnected' status only means that they are not currently in use.

    The first is your ethernet port.
    The second is a bluetooth adapter.
    The third is your wireless NIC, which I guess is the one you use.
    It also appears you have adapters for the upcoming IPv6, which is normal.

    There are other tunnel adapters here I can't immediately identify. Do you use VPN connections at all?

    Wait, I have them on my Vista installs as well. I'll try to figure out what they are, but I wouldn't try to remove them. It may be the Vista needs them for network to function properly.

    ya i know the bluetooth and ethernet and wireless.
    Its the tunneling ones im wondering about.

    No dont use VPN's on this computer. Have my work computer for that one.
