Basicly, I changed my Vista settings on the c drive - security so that everything had permission. I thought it would help me install lol. I have managed to install stuff now,but I want to change it back to the default - but I don't know what these are, can anyone tell me? Is it unsafe to have it all set to allow?

    Thank you!!!

    Hi

In C: default Permissions and all are in the allow list, nothing ticked in deny.

Authenticated users ~ only has Special Permissions ticked
SYSTEM ~ has all bar Special Permissions ticked
Admin ~ has all bar Special Permissions ticked
Users ~ have only Read & Execute, List Folder contents & Read
