w32.novarg.a@mm virus

    I currently recieved this virus in an email attachment i recieved from my friend. I always scan files before opening them but i have still managed to contract this virus. I am running Avast Anti-virus and it is unable to delete the infected files. I have tried to do manually but to no avail. Any suggestions on how to remove this virus would be greatly appreciated. thanks

    2 is better than 1 ;)

    besides, I didn't think MG was into specified virus removal utilities. Just AV's as a whole.

    now, disable the preview pane in Outlook or Outlook express.. which ever you're using.

    As an FYI, I have been adding specific tools on a need basis. In other words, higher threat, newer ones mainly. Sorry for any confusion. I assumed it was a good thing for our readers to have on days like this when a new virus is running wild.

    lol.. thanks for the FYI ;) I agree 100%. Will make sure to search front end before posting specialized utils for this kind of stuff.
