wd raptor not detected in bios

    new sys build and have been unable to get the raptor to auto detect in bios
    sys info
    mb msi p6n sli platinum nforce 650i
    wd raptor x 150gb
    core2 quad
    2gig ddr2
    nvidia 8800gt
    the dirve is connected and seems to power on (spins and clicks)
    thanks for any help

    are the clicks audible? The most you should hear a hard drive is a small buzz. Clicks usually indicate the spindle or control arm are busted. Try clearing the BIOS or try the drive in another machine just to make sure, but if you're hearing clicks... its a good thing hard drives are so cheap now ;-)
