Web Host Suggestions?

Hi,
Hope I can ask this here. I am looking for a decent web host. I have a website and a forum. The one I have been with now for 8 years which I wont mention by name used to be very reliable. Now for the past 6 months all I'm getting are database errors, half of the time my board is running slow, yesterday they had another crash, lost a months worth of post on my board and now they moved me to a server that is moving like a lead sled all I'm getting are time outs, so I have had enough. So I need to find someone good but affordable fast. So any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

I've been with them for a long time, but recently switched to try another one...and I'm switching back. They may not have the best prices, but their support is the best I've seen.
