Webcam program like HP Mediasmart

    i got a microsoft lifecam and it came with a program from microsoft that has some effects nd filters but there not really thats great..

    is it possible to use a hp mediasmart or a logitech program with it? or are those only compatible with logitech and hp mediasmart webcams respectively.

    really interested in making this work with hp mediasmart but i dont know if thats possible someone help me out :$ or is there a really good webcam software with alot of filters/effects
