Webcam software not connecting

I don't have an actual webcam / usb cam plugged in or built in on my desktop. I use webcam programs like Coolwaremax Webcam max or Manycam to simply load videos and show viewers (ie. in yahoo chat or other chat sites).

It worked fine for months but it suddenly stopped connecting about a few days ago.

What happens is when I load up the webcam in yahoo or say an online cam site, it used to automatically start and run my webcam max software. Then I'd just click and drag any video file into webcam max and it would start playing as well as transmitting on the cam site (like in yahoo or online cam site).

Now there's nothing. No image. When I check in yahoo what the "camera source" is, it says it's:

Microsoft WDM Image Capture (Win32), Version: 6.1.7601.17514

instead of webcam max. I don't know what this Microsoft WDM Image Capture (Win32), Version: 6.1.7601.17514 is?? Is it a driver that's part of Windows 7 or is it a 3rd party driver that belongs to another program?

I've tried uninstalls, reinstalls, with restarts, I've tried different versions of webcam max and manycam but all result in the same issue...no transmission. The softwares themselves work fine. I can open up webcam max and play videos but when I try to connect online...it'll always say there's no cam found or no webcam connected.

I tried it on my backup desktop, and it works fine there just like it used to work fine on my main desktop for months until recently. The problem isn't Yahoo settings, or manycam or webcam max settings...they work fine....but i think it has something to do with a video driver conflict or this Microsoft WDM Image Capture (Win32), Version: 6.1.7601.17514 driver?

Anyone got a clue?
