Website Hosts/Design

I see that there are a number of web hosting sites around. Does anyone have any thoughts regarding who the good ones are and are their site builder tools very good?

Check out Doteasy ( http://www.doteasy.com/ ) - I've used them several times, without a hitch...several free/paid plans available, all the bells and whistles...

I know many, but it depends on what you need there are so many available from free to paid dedicated servers. I have used and recommend very highly http://www.caratnetworks.com/ these guys are available 24/7 and they have a section for off lease and very cheap servers, check them out.

 

Many hosting services feature online editing (of web pages) capability. But, I get the impression you may want a service that offers templates you could use as the starting point for your website. If I'm correct about that, you might try http://www.homestead.com/

 

For my websites I use a service called bluehost. They are paid servers but it is very cheap and you get a lot of included features with it. The website is http://www.bluehost.com

 

What is the monthly cost for the basic service? I don't see it stated on the website.
