Well, I have followed MA's destructions in FAQ about this i.e. done the Regedit jobs, and it is still happening? Whassup, please?

Check the settings for your firewall or any ad blockers you may have installed, look for options that block spam, ads, pop-ups, etc. Disable them and see if that helps.

What o/s is it
is it jpg's you can't view
what version active x

have you got macromedia shockwave and flash
(go to ie-tools-temporay internet files-settings-view objects)

it could be that you cant view animations as you have not got these items

Am using XP SP2
All pics seem to go red x
Have got Flash and Shock, but don't think it an anims prob
Not sure what ActiveX. Not sure these are the probs as...

Also do not see it can be firewall etc because...

To clarify, problem seems intermittent i.e. can be merrily surfing around and getting all pics then suddenly pics stop showing. If I close out browser (ie or ff) then go back in, pics can often work again, then go again....

Any more thoughts appreciated
