Weird Windows colors?

    Hey everyone.

I have a question regarding Windows colors. I recently (about 2 weeks ago) re-installed Windows XP Pro from a legitimate, retail disk. Everything is completely fine. All the updates have been done (SP2 + ) and there are absolutely no bugs, errors, crashes, stop messages AT ALL. So, I'm very pleased.

There is one thing that has been intriguing me for quite a while now, thought. I have a very weird "Welcome" text color. It doesn't have the black outlines, like the normal one does. Instead of black, it's orange (?!?!?!?!) I've attached a pic so that you can see what I'm talking about. Window text at the top bar of the window also has this problem, but it's barely visible there. Firefox also has weird color combinations sometimes, highlighting certain phrases in Google in bright red, and displaying hyperlinks in non-standard colors. Is there any explanation for this?

    Thanks! [IMG]

I think either your monitor or video card color settings (gamma and so forth) are outtawhack. Check your contrast and brightness controls also...
