what cuases this error message

( i wrote it down and copied the message) a probelm has been detect and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer if this is the frist thing yo've sseen this error message retsart your computer, if it appears agian do this...... check to be sure you have adequate disk space if a driver is identified in the stop message disable the driver or dcheck w/ the manfuatuer for driver updates try chaing video adapters. check w/ your hadware vendor for any bios undagtes. disbale bios memory options such as caching or shadowing. if you need ot use safe mode to remove or disable compnetnts, restar your computer. press f8 to select advanecd startup options and then selcet safe mode. ............................techinial information.............. stop : 0x000008e(0xcooooo5, oxbf85e817, oxb250eceo, oxooooooo) win32k.sys - address bf85e817bace at bf 80000; datestamp 3dcde5e5.................... begining dumbp of phsical memory, phyical meory dump computer... contact system adim or tech support group for further assistance. well thanks in advance.
