What do you guys think of Registry Booster

This program is advertised on this site, and I downloaded the freeware. It tells me I have hundreds of errors and I must pay $30 to fix them. I am reluctant to do it. Do you think ccCleaner is just as good? What do I gain from using a more comprehensive registry cleaner anyway? More speed? I can't get my computer faster. I have an intel centrino duo with windows XP and then bought 2G of RAM. It still isn't fast enough and takes years to start up. I'd better do another spy and virus check, too.
