what does this error messege mean?

    click ok to terminate the program
    click cancel to debug the program

    winxp sp1,i am running a .chm application ebook viewer.it happens with other applications and services too,at least once every day it happens.

    Most, if not all software has a disclaimer such as " If we FUBAR your box, don't come running to us for help." That being said, try Memtest86 from the memory section of MG. You make a bootable floppy and test RAM this way. It will tell you quickly if you have bad RAM or not. At least now you'll have 2 programs to verify your chips before you start spending money at a tech shop.
