What is a free but SIMPLE program for making collages out of Pictures?

I'm trying to make a collage of pictures but the paint program on this computer is not doing what I want simple enough. I need something that will let me open up a lot of pictures at once and be able to make collages out of them. PICTURE IT! was perfect but I can't find a free download anywhere of it...

any suggestions?

If you print your photos at home, I like the Kodak website. Tell it what size your paper is, put your photos in the "work tray" and it will place them on the page for you. If you have some horizontal and some vertical, it should place them in the same row-at least it did for me. You also can but the collages from them-I think the prices are reasonable, and they have sales on them, too.

 

just letting you know that picasa 2 has a VERY simple feature at making collages

also very good for managing photos if your interested its on mg
