Every so often, my computer makes a random beep. Just out of nowhere, for no good reason. It sounds like its coming from my CPU. Nothing bad seems to happen, but its driving me crazy, i would like to know what is beeping and why.

Heh, the beep isn't coming from your CPU, it doesn't have a speaker!

Please post your system specs. I would imagine that if they aren't overly spectacular, you might just be sending too many requests.........

Usually Motherboards will have a small piezo speaker onboard for post codes and the such. So yes there can be a speaker near the CPU Mada_Milty.
